Being Entrepreneurial 2022
A celebration of entrepreneurial learning across Europe
Join us in Brussels!
Tuesday 22 November 09:30 – 18:30 (CET)
Entrepreneurship is when you act on opportunities and ideas and transform them into value for others. The value that is created can be financial, cultural or social.
Definition of ‘entrepreneurship’ from the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship

Connect. Share. Learn. Get recognised.
This is a one-day conference offering networking, insights and interactive workshops that will explore being entrepreneurial across all sectors of lifelong learning and linked to themes from digitalisation and green transition to gender equality and social innovation. It is a celebration of all the work being done by partners and networks from across Europe, all connected to The EntreComp Community.
Being Entrepreneurial 2022 will:
• Connect people and projects working on entrepreneurial learning across diverse contexts
• Showcase how entrepreneurial competences are drivers for digital and green transition
• Drive innovation by encouraging sharing and learning from policy and practice
• Define how being entrepreneurial creates positive impact across the SDGs
• Build synergies between the different actions at regional, national and EU level
• Launch and grow the voice of The EntreComp Community across practice and policy at all levels
EntreComp Awards Ceremony
Being Entrepreneurial 2022 will close with the inaugural EntreComp Award Ceremony. This is an awards programme delivered through The EntreComp Community as an initiative of the European Commission, to showcase the individual or organisational champions transforming policy and practice across Europe – inspired by EntreComp!

About EntreComp
In 2016, the European Commission launched the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework, otherwise known as EntreComp, a set of 15 key competences in three key areas that offer a comprehensive description of the knowledge, skills and attitudes that people need to be entrepreneurial and create financial, cultural or social value for others. Entrepreneurship now forms part of the Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning along with seven other key competence areas that together form the basic skills identified by the European Commission as key to developing suitable knowledge, skills and attitudes for lifelong learning from an early age and throughout life.
